The State Drug Administration approved 21 kits for novel coronavirus antigen testing, of which the types of antigen objects tested are classified as IgG, IgM, or both. The mainstream detection methods are the colloidal gold method (7) and the magnetic particle chemiluminescence method (7). Among them, I would like to introduce you to the novel coronavirus (SARS-COV-2) lgG/IgM antigen test kit (colloidal gold method)!

Here is the content list:

  • Test kit contents

  • Test Principle

Test kit contents

The "colloidal gold method" here actually refers to the use of colloidal gold as a tracer marker, specifically the colloidal gold flowmetry immunochromatography method. The IgG antigen assay colloidal gold method, for example, contains a test card, sample diluent, and pipette for the novel coronavirus (SARS-COV-2) lgG/IgM antigen test kit (colloidal gold method).

Test Principle

This product adopts colloidal gold immunochromatography technology for detecting the SARS-CoV-2 antigen nucleocapsid protein. The SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody-2 and IgG antibody were coated on nitrocellulose membrane in strips. Spraying colloidal gold labeled SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody 1 on the gold pad. The SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody 2 is coated as the test line (T) and goat anti-mouse IgG antibody is coated as the quality control line (C). When an appropriate amount of the sample to be tested is added to the sample hole of the test card, the sample will move forward along the test card under capillary action. If the sample contains a SARS-CoV-2 antigen, the SARS-CoV-2 antigen nucleocapsid protein will form a complex with the SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody 1 labeled by colloidal gold. The complex will continue to flow to the nitrocellulose membrane and bind specifically to the SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody 2 at the T line to make the T line appear, indicating that the SARS-CoV-2 antigen is positive. If the sample does not contain SARS-CoV-2 antigen, the T line will not appear. The test card also contains a quality control line (C), regardless of whether there is a T line, the C line should appear. If the C line does not appear, it indicates that the test result is invalid, and this sample needs to be tested again.

Through the above introduction, do you know a little bit more about the Novel Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2) lgG/IgM Antigen Test Kit (Colloidal Gold Method)? I hope this little introduction can be helpful to you!
